The awards “HONOR IN SERVICES” and “DISTINGUISHED IN SECTOR“, created by the WFBSC President Resolution No. 001/2011 WFBSC, 31st August 2011, has as main objective to award exceptional service through recognition of its leaders, individuals and corporations, which have become worthy of homage and gratitude of the cleaning service contractors, facilities and outsourcing companies, represented by its governing body, the WFBSC.
The distinction of honor shall obey the following criteria, in order:
Article I – the awards “HONOR IN SERVICES” and “DISTINGUISHED IN SECTOR” may be granted at every two years, after the approval of the WFBSC President and Board of directors: Article coming years – Companies that have been granted with the award in the past and which keep the necessary requirements, shall be nominated, certified and receive a maintenance award up to the time of changing its category.
1. CORPORATIONS: HONORS IN SERVICES
The award shall be granted to building service contractors that have reached 50, 30, 20 or 15 years in business, since their constitution, up to August 15st, 2012, the year of the award, which have maintained at 4 least one partner in common in the period, cases of merger, demerger, inheritance or any form of legal succession observed, duly recognized by the Board of WFBSC, and that are members in regular situation with their annual dues, according to the following categories and conditions:
a) CATEGORY DIAMOND – Companies who have reached 50 years or more in business; b) CATEGORY GOLD – Companies who have reached 30 years in business; c) CATEGORY SILVER – Companies who have reached 20 years in business; d) CATEGORY BRONZE – Companies who have reached 15 years in business.
2. INDIVIDUALS: DISTINGUISHED IN SECTOR
2.1.1 The award “DISTINGUISHED IN SECTOR” is destined to grant federal, state and local government authorities who have encouraged and prestiged, by any means, economic activities represented by WFBSC.
2.1.2 Businessmen or professionals whose actions have been highlighted within the segment represented by WFBSC, or have worked in the consolidation of democratic ideas and the growth and expansion of this industry.
2.1.3 Any other public or private personalities who have provided relevant services to the category.
Article II – In all these cases, an unblemished personal, professional and family reputation of the awarded is essential.
Article III – LOSS OF RIGHTS:
Paragraph One of One – The award “HONORS IN SERVICES” and ” DISTINGUISHED IN SECTOR” can be terminated by resolution of the President of WFBSC, approved by the Board when its holder:
a) has committed a duly verified act contrary to the dignity, honor and moral precepts that affects the economic sector represented by WFBSC or the society;
b) in the case of individuals, has his or her political rights suspended or an elective office term revoked by malpractice acts or immorality;
c) has committed an act that invalidates the reasons why he was awarded.
Article IV – SECOND GRANT – the awards “HONORS IN SERVICES” and “DISTINGUISHED IN SECTOR” and “SPECIAL HONORS”, indicated by the President of WFBSC and endorsed by its Board, shall be granted in a special ceremony to be held during the WFBSC Congress in October 2012 in Curitiba – Paraná, according to Article II from this document.
Article V – For subsequent years, the awards shall always take place in the host country of the Congress.
Article VI. Registration for the awards shall be made in a specific area of the Congress website, where the documents that prove the tradition of the company for the category shall be electronically attached, as well as at least three certificates of technical capacity. Only companies with a minimum of three registrations in the Congress, being one a delegate, shall be accepted as candidates.
Article VII. I, Adonai Aires de Arruda, as President of the WFBSC for 2011/2012, institute these awards, rules and regulations and indicate as members of the selection committee Mrs Cristiane Oliveira, Director and Superintendent of FEBRAC, representing the host country, and Mr Andrew Large, Executive Vice President of the WFBSC, representing the institution.
7.1. It is determined that the host country’s Association Executive Director as well as the WFBSC Executive Vice President shall be responsible for the selection committee for the next years.
